Yesterday we toured SLA and got to see classes in action. I visited a ninth grade science class where students looked pretty engaged in the labs they were working on. They all had their MacBooks out and were writing and discussing their work.
We then headed to a reception at the Franklin Institute. It was quite astounding to “know who” many of the people in the room were. Introducing myself usually got the reply of “oh I Know you!” or ” I follow you on Twitter!” It was quite surreal! At dinner we started some great conversations, so I am very excited about today!
